As discussed at the AGM, we no longer require members completing support boat duty to have a PB2 certificate. Instead, we are requesting that those who feel competent to do support boat complete a refresher session with a qualified PB instructor. The sailing committee can then approve these individuals as competent to cover support boat duties.
We would also like those completing race officer duty to also have a refresher training as we have updated some of our processes and want to ensure everyone feels confident in there role.
We appreciate we are asking for more of your time this year, and are grateful to all members who support the club to be able to offer these sailing events.
