The Hardway 100 certainly lived up to its reputation!
Six boats left the slipway (Phil S, Andy, Gareth, Peter, Tony and Ruby). Four made it to the start (Gareth, Peter, Tony and Ruby). Three abandoned (Gareth, Peter and Ruby). After countless capsizes, turtles, lost mainsheets, missing rudders and plenty of determination… there was just one finisher. Huge congratulations to Tony for being the only sailor to complete the Hardway 100. An epic effort in some seriously testing conditions! Sometimes

What a fantastic achievement for Steve Jackson at the RS Games, held alongside the RS Aero European Championships and Youth Regatta during Travemünder Woche in Germany. Competing in the RS Aero 5 fleet against 61 sailors from around the world , Steve took on a challenging week of racing in 15 to 20 knots of breeze and big cross waves—conditions that really suited his downwind
