Galley Re Opening Soon

Good News

Colin Shaw will be taking over the franchise of the Galley towards the end of January 2023 providing this much needed service to members.

Colin has 50 years’ experience in the catering trade working as chef, head chef, and in management roles in hotels, cafes and lately running his own local sandwich businesses.  Colin has all the necessary hygiene certification.

Please support Colin in his new venture and should you wish to help him provide and understand the service members would like, feel free to  provide answers to the following questions/suggestions.  Responses ONLY be sent to rear@hardwaysailingclub.co.uk.

  1. Weekend breakfasts – Summer only 8 am – 10 am?
  2. Would you like the option of seasonal specials to be available?
  3. Would you like one pot meals/casseroles/chilli/Curries?
  4. What other main meals would you like offered?
  5. Would you like sandwiches?
  6. Would you like themed evenings, if so what?
  7. Would you like puddings such as hot syrup sponge, sticky toffee? 
  8. Would you like cold puddings such as homemade sherry trifle?
  9. Would you like the option of having homemade cakes/sweet treats, such as Victoria Sandwich, coffee cake etc.  If so would you like this facility available at all times of opening?

Thursday evening

Saturday lunch time and evening (summer and winter)

Sunday lunch time.
