Reports.
Treasurer: Details of the monthly accounts for the club and bar were provided and there were no
questions from the Management Committee.
The move of the Bar Accounts from NatWest to Lloyds now completed.
The Treasurer queried non receipt of Galley rent, Rear Commodore to investigate.
5 Year financial plan to be drawn up and Rear Commodore volunteered to assist.

Bar Secretary The Bar Sec requested the Committee try not to present receipts for payment over
the bar on a Friday or Saturday if over the value of £20 as this can leave the till low on Cash.
Alternatives are to contact the Treasurer who will make a Bacs payment or speak directly the Bar
Secretary.
Membership Secretary:
The Membership presented 2 adult applications which were approved in principle.
There are currently 71 Members who have requested Paper renewals.
Sailing Committee:
The Sailing Committee introduced Vicky Bannister as the Dinghy Captain.
The Sailing Committee queried the number of outstanding Mooring Renewal payments
despite having been actively chased by the Mooring Officer. The Treasurer will send a
summary of payments received to date.
SOCIAL
All social activities are advertised in and around the club and on the website, a new programme will
be put together following the AGM.
The Burns night has now been amended to 3 Feb 23 and the list is up on notice board.
Interclub Quiz will be hosted by HSC on 13 Jan 24 commencing 2000.
Work Party Confirmed with the committee whether he was able to set the Work Party dates and
this was confirmed by the meeting, dates are dictated by the tide.
Galley Nothing to report for the Galley.
The Rear Commodore advised the meeting that a Fire Risk assessment needed to be put in place and
that he was currently putting the document together. The Vice Commodore confirmed the Electrical
Certification will be completed before the end of Jan 24. Once this has completed the Rear
Commodore has an independent assessor ready to visit the club in Feb 24 to ensure HSC is legally
compliant.
Publicity Nothing to report.  
IT Officer Website front Page updated and in addition the Management Dashboard now set up
and running with metrics calculated. The Membership Database now has those members eligible for
work Party flagged and the Work Party Sec has access.

AOB
The Rear Commodore informed the meeting that he had been asked by a member to raise
the question regarding the number of people in the club on New Years Eve. Unfortunately,
as this is a popular event it was unsurprising there was no seating by 2200 hrs. Members
have access to the facilities 24 hours a day therefore ticketing of guests to resolve this would
prove difficult to police. Members should still annotate guest details in the visitors Log and
the Committee members still will continue to endorse this where able. The number of
people attending events in the club will be monitored.
