Booking a Pontoon Stay

This section provides a guide on how to make a booking for a space on the Club pontoon.  The process differs from the old system in that an online booking must be made on arrival and when tied up.  The pontoon has now been identified with numbered sections on the North and South sides, namely N1-15 and S1-15 (these will be extended when the new pontoon sections are installed).

The process is straightforward however the following text provides a step-by-step guide of how to book a pontoon:

MEMBERS

  1. From the main new HSC webpage select Book Online, this then brings up the page with photos for pontoon, grid and the derrick.
  2. Click the Pontoon Members 1-7 days photo.  Note; for members staying in excess of 7 days two separate submissions need to be completed, firstly 1-7 days then 8-28 days.
  3. This then brings up the page showing the numbered berths available, click on the berth side and number that you have moored to.
  4. This then brings up the calendar page for the berth selected.  Click into the calendar for the date(s) required, the date(s) will then outline in black and the date and price fields below will be automatically completed.
  5. Tick the box 'I agree to the terms and conditions for this booking'.
  6. Then click the blue Add to cart.
  7. From the next screen click View cart to make payment.
  8. To secure your slot click Payment to confirm and complete the booking, this will take you to the payment gateway.  Alternatively click on the small circled X on the right of the screen to cancel
  9. You can check that everything has gone through correctly by looking under 'My Details' on the top right bar of the webpage when logged in, from the my details screen select My Details/My Bookings

VISITORS

1. From the main new HSC webpage select Book Online, this then brings up the page with photos for pontoon, grid and the derrick.

2. Click the Pontoon Visitors photo.  Note; visitors are permitted to stay for a period up to 7 days, any stay after that must be obtained in advance from the Pontoon Officer.

3. This then brings up the page showing the numbered berths available, click on the berth side, and number that you have moored to.

4. This then brings up the calendar page for the berth selected.  Click into the calendar for the date(s) required, the date(s) will then outline in black, and the date and price fields below will be automatically completed

5. Tick the box 'I agree to the terms and conditions for this booking'

6. Then click the blue Add to cart

7. From the next screen click View cart to make payment

8. Click Payment to confirm and complete the booking, this will take you to the payment gateway.  Alternatively click on the small circled X on the right of the screen to cancel. 

NOTE:  Visitors are required to pay on arrival.
